Hello!
Welcome to our new website. If you've been here before, you'll see that we've changed things a little. Why? Well, it's because Louis Kincaid isn't the only guy in town anymore. We've created a new series with an exciting new heroine. Some of you already know her -- Joe Frye. She first appeared in Louis's sixth book, A KILLING RAIN. She was the kind of woman you just can't ignore. So we are introducing her to you in our new book A THOUSAND BONES. We hope you'll like her as much as you've liked Louis. And don't worry. Louis will certainly be back. He is returning in SOUTH OF HELL, which will be published this coming August. Joe Frye will also play a major part in the story. Stay tuned soon for more details and a picture of the cover for SOUTH OF HELL. Please drop us a line or sign up for our newsletter. And thanks for visiting!
South of Hell
Coming July 29 an exciting new novel featuring Louis Kincaid AND Joe Frye!
For Louis Kincaid and his lover, female detective Joe Frye, the present and the past collide when they team up to find out what happened to Jean Brandt, who was reported missing by her husband from their Michigan farmhouse in 1981. Jean's daughter Amy, only five at the time, has been plagued by dream-like memories of a violent killing, and it is assumed that the murder she has seen is her mother's. But as Amy's veracity as a witness is put to the test, Louis and Joe realize that the details of her visions are not consistent with the evidence -- in particular, the time period during which Jean was killed. A strange question emerges: Whose murder did Amy really see?
"Crime fiction at its finest. Beautifully written, beautifully imagined and packed with raw power."
-- Lee Child
